Your registration fee entitles you to in-person access to the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event (the “ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event”). All other costs associated with your attendance, including but not limited to travel, lodging, internet service, and software platforms required for participation shall be borne solely by you, and you agree ASCM shall have no liability for such costs.

By registering for the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event, you agree to abide by all ASCM-posted rules regarding health and safety and conduct, in addition to those rules and guidelines in effect at the time of the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event by local, state, and federal health authorities regarding COVID-19 precautionary measures.

ASCM reserves the right to remove or cause to be removed, anyone who engages in offensive, rude, or disruptive conduct, or poses a threat to the health or safety of any person, or violates any applicable law, rule, or regulation. You acknowledge and agree that ASCM reserves the right to remove you from the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event, if ASCM, in its sole discretion, determines that your participation or behavior creates a disruption or hinders the enjoyment of the content by other attendees.

ASCM reserves the right to deny participation to anyone who engages in or is reputed to engage in unethical or non-compliant business practices.

On-Site Registrations

On-site registrations are available to ASCM members and non-members at an additional cost as detailed at https://connect.ascm.org/website/55509/attend/#pricing. Full conference registrants receive access to all sessions, as well as luncheons, the Opening and Closing Receptions and in-person exclusives as detailed at: https://connect.ascm.org/. Only credit card payments will be accepted for on-site registrations.

Cancellation, Substitution and Refund Policy

Requests for cancellation of registration must be made in writing via email to events@ascm.org on or before August 11, 2023. A $100 processing fee will be applied to all refund requests made on or before August 11, 2023. No refunds will be provided after August 11, 2023.

Registrations with a past due balance of over 30 days will be cancelled.

Registrants unable to attend may designate a substitute participant. A $100 processing fee will be applied to all substitution requests, and such fee is due at the time of substitution. Additionally, if the substitute participant is not a member of ASCM, the non-member fee will apply to such substitution. Substitution requests must be made in writing via email to ASCMConnectNorthAmerica@ascm.org on or before August 30, 2023.

Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events, or early departures . 

Membership purchases are non-refundable.
 

Media Disclosure and Consent

By registering for the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event, you hereby consent to and grant ASCM and its representatives’ a royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable, transferrable license to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your image, voice and voice data, likeness (collectively “Attendee Image and Voice Data”), in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, submit, publish, display, or transmit, or otherwise globally disseminate your Attendee Image and Voice Data  in print, online, in ASCM social media channels, in ASCM’s marketing materials, and any other media whether contained physical or digital formats to other attendees or other persons in perpetuity, without any further approval from you or any payment to you.

You waive your right to inspect or approve the finished versions incorporating the Attendee Image and Voice Data, including written copy that may be created and appear in connection therewith. 

You agree that ASCM owns the copyright of any such materials, and you waive any claims based on usage of the photographs or the works derived from them.
 

Emergency Contact Information

In accordance with ASCM policies, please note the following in relation to your emergency contact information: (i) the emergency contact data will be used only for emergency purposes; (ii) you should notify the individual(s) you have named that you have provided ASCM with this information and ASCM will hold this information on file, and (iii) the emergency contact data will only be disclosed in emergency situations to appropriate third parties in your immediate health or safety interests.

ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America

You acknowledge and agree that ASCM, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event, including but not limited to, the name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, these Terms, and time. ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event content may only recorded by ASCM and will be accessible to registered participants on demand for 30 calendar days after the end of the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event.

ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event materials, publications, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof are owned by ASCM. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any materials related to the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America Event.
 

WARRANTIES AND LIMITS ON LIABILITY

ASCM MAKES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE ASCM SUPPLY CHAIN TOUR EVENT, INCLUDING ANY (a) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY; (b) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; (c) WARRANTY OF TITLE; OR (d) WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF A THIRD PARTY; WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE, OR OTHERWISE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL ASCM'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ASCM SUPPLY CHAIN TOUR EVENT, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, EXCEED THE TOTAL OF THE AMOUNTS PAID TO ASCM FOR THE ADMISSION TO THE EVENT SOLD HEREUNDER

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ASCM, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating a) your failure to comply with these terms and conditions b) your negligent or more culpable act or omission c) your failure to comply with any applicable federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or codes in CONNECTION WITH this Agreement.
