FAQs 

What does registration include?

As an attendee, you will have access to 70+ education sessions, with over 120 speakers, 20 TECH Talks, expo hall and networking.

Why am I not being offered discounted pricing?

Discounted pricing is available for ASCM members. To receive the member discount, please select "I wish to become a Member” from the list of registration categories offered on the “Welcome” registration page.

Why am I not seeing member pricing even though I am a member?

Please use the email address associated with your ASCM membership account. Please Note: If you recently renewed or started your ASCM membership, your email may not be recognized for 24 hours. If you feel you are using the correct email and it has been over 24 hours since an update has been made to your account and your email is still not being recognized, please contact ASCMConnectNorthAmerica@ascm.org for assistance.

Are there any discounts available?

Attendees can enjoy discounted registration by registering before July 1, 2023 during our early bird registration period.

How do I cancel or provide a substitute for my conference registration?

Requests for cancellation of registration must be made in writing via email to ASCMConnectNorthAmerica@ascm.org on or before August 16, 2023. A $100 processing fee will be applied to all refund requests made on or before August 16, 2023. No refunds will be allowed after August 16, 2023.

I can no longer attend; can I send someone in my place?

Registrants unable to attend may send a substitute participant. A $100 processing fee will be applied to all substitution requests due at the time of substitution. Additionally, if the substitute participant is not a member of ASCM, the non-member fee will apply to such substitution. Substitution requests must be made in writing via email to ASCMConnectNorthAmerica@ascm.org on or before August 16, 2023. Refunds will not be issued for a failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events, or early departures.

I can no longer attend, and I purchased a membership. Can I get a refund for my membership?

Membership purchases are non-refundable

Will there be free Wi-Fi in the Convention Center?

Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available for conference attendees.

What is the dress code for the conference?

We suggest business casual.

Will food be available during the conference?

Light hors d’oeuvres for both the opening and closing receptions, along with lunch Sunday through Tuesday. While menu selections will not be finalized until just prior to the conference, our planning team strives to provide a range of diverse options in the food and beverage service. If you have specific dietary requirements, please note them when prompted during the registration process.

Will breakfast be served?

Breakfast is not provided, although there are several food and beverage options at the hotels and nearby.

When can I access the event app?

The event application will be available two weeks prior to the event. You can expect to receive additional information via email.

Does attending the conference grant me professional development points?

Yes, attendees will earn professional development points that qualify toward the maintenance of APICS CPIM, CFPIM, CSCP or CLTD designations. Letters will be sent electronically after the conference and can be accessed upon completion of a brief survey.

When will the presentations from the sessions be available?

At the discretion of presenters, conference presentations are included in the event app.

Will facility tours be available this year?

Yes! Facility tours are planned at UPS Worldport, Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, Angel’s Envy – Bourbon Distillery, and Copper and Kings – Brandy Distillery. Registrants will be able to choose only one facility tour per registration while supplies last. Churchill Downs has set up a unique experience for each of the days available, be sure to view [More Info] following the facility tour title during registration for a description of what to expect.

Is there wheelchair accessibility throughout the venue?

Yes. The conference sessions will take place in a venue that accommodates wheelchairs. We have three conference hotels, the Louisville Marriott Downtown, Hyatt Regency Louisville, and the Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown. All three are ADA accessible, please contact the hotel of your choice.

Which hotel is ASCM CONNECT headquarters hotel?

The Louisville Marriot Downtown is the headquarters hotel.

What airports are near the Kentucky International Convention Center?

Louisville International Airport is 7.6 miles from the Kentucky International Convention Center. Taxi and Ride-sharing options are available at the airport.

Is there parking near the Kentucky International Convention Center?

Parking is located at the Cowger or Commonwealth Garage. Cowger Garage is located at 4th & Market Street (next to FedEx). Commonwealth Garage is located on Jefferson Street (middle of block on left hand side) between 34d & 4th Streets and connected to Hyatt Regency.

What is the COVID-19 safety policy?

The top priority of APICS, Inc., d/b/a The Association for Supply Chain Management (“ASCM”), is protecting the health, safety, and welfare of all who attend the ASCM CONNECT 2023: North America, including but not limited to our members, directors, attendees, presenters, and employees. Federal, state, and local restrictions related to limiting exposure to COVID-19 and protecting the health and safety individual change rapidly, and ASCM cannot predict what protective measures the CDC, State of Kentucky, and/or City of Louisville will require at the time of the annual conference in September 2023. We are committed to ensuring that, minimally, restrictions the State of Kentucky and City of Louisville have in place at the time of our event will be followed. These may include, but are not limited to, wearing masks indoors and social distancing measures.
